Hanover Minor Hockey Jerseys to Appear at Cannes Film Festival
In a strange twist of fate, the current Hanover Falcons Jersey will make it's debut in a short film at the Cannes Film Festival, as well as at both the Toronto and L.A. Film Festivals.
The jerseys will be worn during an on-ice hockey scene in a 5 minute short film entitled "Tool Belt", a film that profiles blue collar workers in the work place. The film co-stars Barry Neil, the father of Ottawa Senators forward Chris Neil.
" We are pleased to have the Hanover Falcons name and logo involved in such a prestigious production as a film at the world's best film festival." said Hanover Minor Hockey President Steve Fitzsimmons.
The short film is also expected to be highlighted in an upcoming edition of Coaches Corner with Don Cherry and Ron Maclean.
