Tyke 2 tops in Mildmay

On January 24th the Hanover Tyke 2 team once again met up with the Mildmay Tykes at the Mildmay arena. Caden Prues was between the pipes this time and did an amazing job stopping breakaways, quick shots and rebounds.

Luke Breen turned on the defence, keeping Mildmay’s top scorers at bay. It truly was Hanover’s time to shine while winning this 14-2 game. Goals were scored by Joshua Lorenz (6), Spencer Whitehead (2), Isaac Wells (3), Blake Walters (1) and Keifer Teeple (2). Assists were counted for Keifer Teeple (1) and Olivia Schlosser (2). Working hard to keep the puck in Mildmay’s end was Abbygale Price, Halie Tanner and Owen Doersam. Way to work everyone!

    The kids had a marvellous time taking in all the sights and participating in the numerous activities for "Hockey day in Hanover" on January 10th.  The silent auction, the activities, the monument, and of course, the hockey games!

    The Hanover Tyke 2 Timbits met the Chesley Cougars at the coliseum for a re-match of their season opener. #6 Spencer Whitehead was between the pipes this time and was worked hard by the Chesley squad.

    Tyke 2 is red hot
    The Hanover Tyke 2 Timbits squared off against the Walkerton White team on December 6th at the Walkerton Arena. Despite a slow first half, Hanover got it into gear and scored an amazing 14 shots on the Walkerton team.
