Close game for Tyke 2

January 31st was the date of the match up between the Normanby and Hanover Tyke 2 teams at the Hanover Coliseum.  Olivia Schlosser was in the net for the game, looking sharp against the Normanby breakaways.

 It was a see-saw game of goals for both teams, with Normanby ultimately coming out on top in the last minute of a 6-5 game.  Despite some hard hits and questionable plays by the Normanby team, Hanover stuck to playing a clean game of passing and teamwork.  Joshua Lorenz scored a hat trick (assisted by Keifer Teeple), while Blake Walters and Keifer Teeple added goals of their own.  Great sportsmanship everyone!  Keep up the good work!-Submitted by Tawnya Schlosser

    On January 24th the Hanover Tyke 2 team once again met up with the Mildmay Tykes at the Mildmay arena. Caden Prues was between the pipes this time and did an amazing job stopping breakaways, quick shots and rebounds.

    The kids had a marvellous time taking in all the sights and participating in the numerous activities for "Hockey day in Hanover" on January 10th.  The silent auction, the activities, the monument, and of course, the hockey games!

    The Hanover Tyke 2 Timbits met the Chesley Cougars at the coliseum for a re-match of their season opener. #6 Spencer Whitehead was between the pipes this time and was worked hard by the Chesley squad.

    The Hanover Tyke 2 Timbits squared off against the Walkerton White team on December 6th at the Walkerton Arena. Despite a slow first half, Hanover got it into gear and scored an amazing 14 shots on the Walkerton team.
