Teamwork is "sweet"

On February 14th, the Hanover Tyke 2 Timbits squared off against the Mildmay Monarchs in a "sweetheart" of a game. Keifer Teeple looked sharp as the netminder of the day.

 It was a game of great teamwork on the part of the Hanover team, with amazing passing and excellent positioning. The defensive team of Olivia Schlosser, Luke Breen and Halie Tanner kept the Mildmay shooters at bay, while the offensive line of Spencer Whitehead and Abbygale Price ensured that the puck stayed in the Mildmay end.  Mildmay opened the scoring early in the game, but Hanover’s Blake Walters answered back with a goal assisted by Joshua Lorenz.  Lorenz then got a goal of his own, assisted by Walters and Caden Prues. Mildmay tied it up before Hanover pulled ahead for a 5-2 victory with goals by Owen Doersam on a rebound from Isaac Wells, and 2 more by Joshua Lorenz. Awesome teamwork everyone!     On January 24th the Hanover Tyke 2 team once again met up with the Mildmay Tykes at the Mildmay arena. Caden Prues was between the pipes this time and did an amazing job stopping breakaways, quick shots and rebounds.

    The Hanover Tyke 2 Timbits met the Chesley Cougars at the coliseum for a re-match of their season opener. #6 Spencer Whitehead was between the pipes this time and was worked hard by the Chesley squad.

    The Hanover Tyke 2 Timbits squared off against the Walkerton White team on December 6th at the Walkerton Arena. Despite a slow first half, Hanover got it into gear and scored an amazing 14 shots on the Walkerton team.
