Playoff Predicament
Our Pharmasave Novice LL Falcons have been fighting every game for valuable points in the playoffs.
The squad has been in five contests and every one of them has been decided by one goal. This past Saturday was no exception as the rival Minto Mad Dogs came to Hanover. Offense was at a premium once again and one goal was all that would be posted. Unfortunately it was Minto that put the tally on the board as they seem to have Hanover's number this year. Sporting a 3-2 record after the first five games it has been Minto that account for both losses. Hanover fought hard all game. Good effort by all!
It was the same story in Durham earlier in the week, but with a better ending. Dawson Happy Fahrer netted the only goal of the game to give the Falcons the 1-0 win. Kyle Rollie Roulston posted the shutout and everyone did an awesome job defending their own zone and holding the chippy Huskies off the scoresheet.
3 games to go and 3 wins away. Good luck team!!
