Tyke 2 Boys Working Hard at Ayton Tournament
The boys entered the Ayton Tyke tournament on Satureday February 6th and should all be very proud of the effort the put forth.
Hanover opened the tournament against a very large Mount Forest team that may have mistaken this for a Novice tournament. Tyler Bishop was between the pipes and did a fantastic job making countless great saves. The boys held the score close for the first half of the game and hustled right to the final buzzer. In the second game we faced a Durham squad that filled the bench with 3 full lines. Tyler played another strong game in goal and Owen Doersam picked up two nice goals. The boys gained some valuable experience and with a team comprised mainly of first year tyke players many on the team will be back again next year with another year of experience under their belts.
