The Hanover Falcons hosted the Aaran Elderslie Ice Dogs team playing to a 2-2 tie.
Submitted By Nicole Freiburger on Sunday, December 20, 2009
The Falcons played a very strong game at both ends of the ice.  Several well executed cross ice passes were completed by the defensive core of Nathan Ahrens, Dawson Fahrer & Tyler Freiburger to their wingers which created several scoring opportunities.  Both Braydon McDiarmid & Nathan Johnston did an incredible job of digging in the corners flustering the Ice Dogs defensemen trying to dump the puck out of their own zone.

Tyson Lina fired several shots on net but came up short against some hot goaltending from the Ice Dogs.  Kyle Hammel was able to pick up a rebound from a Lina shot to give Hanover a 1-0 lead.  Keiran Chittick delivered a solid effort between the pipes to keep things close.  Josh Lorenz had a beautiful wrap around goal in the third period to give Hanover the 2-2 tie.  It was a very exciting game keeping the spectators on the edge of their seats!
