The game started out intense each team scoring one in the first eight minutes. Tyler Freiburger assisted Tyson Lina scoring the first. Then near the end of the 1st period Josh Lorenz broke through the Keady defense with a nice pass to Kyle Hammell who popped it into the net, bringing Hanover to the lead.
The second period saw lots more rallying action between the teams both sides dumping in two more goals each. Nate Johnston was all over the other team with a strong interception to gain control and then off to their end assisting Nathan Ahrens goal. Braydon McDiarmid and Josh Lorenz also defeated the Keady defense and both found the back of the net to make the final score a win for Hanover of 5-3. Good effort from all, keep up the great teamwork!
