Back to Back Shut-outs for Canadian Tire Atoms
Submitted By a.sargeant on Sunday, November 15, 2009
The Hanover Canadian Tire Atoms travelled to Kincardine on Sunday Nov 15th, and were very excited to come away with a commanding win, and second shut-out in as many games, with a final score of 10-0.
From start to finish, the Hanover team dominated Kincardine, and did an excellent job of passing the puck and working together as a team. Hanover defence was strong, led by Brook Bross, Hunter Sargeant, Maria Scales & Matthew Oelschlagel, who all kept the action in the opponents end for most of the game, and kept Kincardine to only 5 shot on net. Hanover goal scorers were Kyler Knoll and Devon Sargeant (who both recorded hat tricks), Daven Rourke (2), Lucas Dietz and special congrats to Andrew Price who scored his very first goal! Assists to Rourke (3), D.Sargeant (2), Price (2), Dietz (2), Cole Mitchell (2), Oelschlagel and Knoll. Congratulations to goalie Aaron Price for securing his first shut-out of the season, and an honorable mention to Kincardine goalie Tyler Brousseau who faced 54 shots, and did a great job! We look forward to facing Normanby next weekend when Shaymus Finlay will take on the goaltending duties for Hanover.
