Hanover and Durham square off in classic play-off game
Submitted By Steve Fitzsimmons on Saturday, February 27, 2010
The Canadian Tire Hanover Falcons and Durham Huskies matched up in a hard fought play-off game today, both trying to scratch and claw for a goal, but after all was said and done the game ended in a 0-0 tie after both regulation and overtime.

Durham and Haver played through the first two periods of fairly even play, with both sides getting a few chances, including an incredible save by Hanover goalie Ben Klages, who looked very sharp in the net.  In the third period and in overtime, Hanover was the aggressor, getting the majority of the chances and dominating play territorially, but were unable to beat the Durham netminder.

So both teams get a hard earned point and Hanover will play tomorrow against Walkerton.  Ben Klages earned the shutout and was awarded the "A" for our next game.
