Hanover enters the second round of playoffs
Round Robin Play Begins
Hanover's second round of playoffs will include a home and away match up with BCH and Minto. The winner of this series will go on to play a round robin series with two other rinks in the area.
Hanover's play started with a win against BCH. It was a solid game that game with a tight score. It was a goalies dual to the end with Hanover coming up with a 3-1 win in game one.
The second game would not be as easy. Good solid hockey by both teams would bring about a second dual of the goalies but Hanover would take the loss 2-1, each going away with two points in the series.
Hanover's match up with Minto would again bring some good hockey. Hanover is playing the best hockey that we have seen this year. As Jeff would say"Tic Tac Toe" passing would put the puck in net 5 times with shared scoring across the squad. Solid defense would keep Minto's scoring to 2 and Hanover would take the first win. The next game is scheduled for Saturday at 5:30 in the Clifford Arena vs Minto.
