Hanover moves on
Hanover met Minto on Saturday and what a game it was. No one team took the lead for very long. It was a battle that would prove to have the crowd sitting on the edge of their seats the entire time. Hanover would kill off 2 -5 on 3 pentalties and several minor penaties but would come from behind to score and tie the game each time. Parents would be on their feet cheering every time Hanover would take control of the puck. The winning goal would be waved off for a highsticking call by Minto. Regulation time would run out with the score tied at 3 and two teams would set of for 10 minutes of overtime. End to end action, time outs called, goalies pulled and fans cheering loudly would all make for one nailbiting game that would end in a tie. Hanover being ahead with points for and against would move on to the next round putting out Minto.
