Funding Available for Hockey through Canadian Tire Jump Start Program
Submitted By S.Fitzsimmons on Thursday, May 28, 2009
We wanted to share some pertinent information on how people can gain access to funds from the program for families in financial need.

The Jump Start Program will fund registration fees, up to $300 per child per year.  Since it's inception in 2005, Jump Start has helped over 159,000 kids get involved in sports.  This year, $1,600,000 has been allocated for Ontario alone.

There are 3 basic ways that individuals can apply for funding.  See below....

1)  Apply on-line at www.canadiantire.ca/jumpstart

2) Call 1-877-616-6600

3) Contact Cindy Wheeler at Owen Sound Children's Aid at 519-376-7829 Extention 288

All inquiries and funding are kept strictly confidential.
