Hockey Pool Volunteer Hours and Team Winners Announced

Hanover Minor Hockey has tabulated the number of entries from our families and can now announce who have qualified for full and partial volunteer hours for the season, as well as the two teams who will share in $500 in the team challenge. 


Full Volunteer Hours for the season are awarded to the following people, with their total hockey pool entries in brackets:

Chandler Hodgkinson, Bantam Reps (27)
Dustin Leask, Midget LL (25) Hours Not Needed
Corbin Van Eeken - Mites (22)
Jonathan Tackaberry, Atom LL 2 (21)
Ben Whaling, Mites 1 (21)

The following people earned 10 volunteer hours for the season, but must still fulfill 5 tournament hours:

TEAM COMPETITION

In the team competition, there was $500 in prizes for individual teams to have their team members acquire the most entries for the hockey pool. The team with the most entries will earn $350 towards a tournament or team event, while 2nd place will receive $150 for their team for the same.

The winners of the team competition were:

1st Place - Midget LL - 116 entries total - receives $350
2nd Place - Bantam Reps - 75 entries total - receives $150

Thank you to everyone who entered and supported our hockey pool. The first standings of the pool should be up within the next week.
