HMH wins 3rd prize in Stagg Chili Saves for Success Contest and nets $2000!
Submitted By s.fitzsimmons on Friday, March 7, 2014
Hanover Minor Hockey has just received notification that we finished third in Ontario for the Stagg Chili Saves for Success Contest
and will be awarded $2000 for our efforts. This money will be used to support the development efforts of our players and coaches.

In the Ontario Division, here are the final standings for the top five winning teams.

1. Waterloo Ice Wolves 905
2. Peterboro Minor Peewees 680

3. Hanover Falcons 497
4. Ajax Knights 462
5. Plattsville Rage 452

Combined with the $1500 we garnered for 3rd place in the contest with Chapman's Ice Cream, we have used our social media and Hanover Falcons pride to win $3,500 for our organization!

A huge thank you to the Atom Reps team for entering on our behalf, as well as HMH board members Nikki Freiburger and Adam Stanley, who were at the forefront of our efforts to keep our organization in prize contention. The Atom Reps will receive a team pizza party as HMH's thanks for entering the contest on our behalf.

At the end of the day, a huge thank you to the passionate families of Hanover Minor Hockey, who voted on our behalf and showed why we're the best hockey centre in Grey-Bruce. We appreciate your on-going support of Hanover Minor Hockey!
