Novice LL2 - WOAA Silver Division Finalists
Submitted By adam stanley on Saturday, March 28, 2015
Hanover Minor Hockey would like to congratulate our Novice LL2 team on their strong finish to their excellent season.  They finished the 2014/15 season as the WOAA Local League Silver Finalists after their 3-2 loss to Goderich this afternoon.

Coach Bryan Blahut said "I am extremely proud of these guys for all their hardwork this season and never quit attitude."  The Falcons lost all three of the WOAA Finals game by one goal.  "Every game was close, our guys hung in there until the final buzzer.  They even hit the post this afternoon with 2 seconds left in the 3rd. It could have gone either way" added Blahut.

In Game #2 of the Goderich Series, Hanover held a 3-0 lead going into the 3rd period, only to see Goderich storm back and steal the game with a final score of 4-3.  "The kids could have quit after that game" said coach Bryan, "Instead they made Goderich earn it in Game #3.  I am very proud of them for showing their determination."

Congratulations on your great season and playoff run, Novice LL2.  HMH is proud of your accomplishment!
