IMPORTANT: Upcoming Dates & Information
Submitted By adam stanley on Tuesday, September 22, 2015
Now that the rust has been scraped of those blades, teams are starting to get organised.  We have many important dates that are fast approaching in which players, parents and bench staff should be aware of.

Coaches Clinics
Hanover Minor Hockey and ES hockey will be hosting 2 in-house coaches clinics.

The first is on Saturday, October 3rd as follows:
2-3pm On Ice with Novice Rep team
3-4pm On Ice with Atom Rep Team
4-5pm Off Ice in Lion's Den (Coaches Only)

The second is on Saturday, October 10th as follows:
2-3pm On Ice with PeeWee Rep team
3-4pm On Ice with Bantam Rep Team
4-5pm Off Ice in Lion's Den (Coaches Only)

The Novice, Atom, PeeWee & Bantam Rep teams will be on-ice with Jamie Isreal of ES Hockey as he leads each team through a practice to demonstrate real-life drills for the coaches.  ALL HMH coaches (Rep and LL) are encouraged to attend both clinics.  Pizza and pop will be provided for the coaches in the off ice chalk talk upstairs in the Lion's Den.

The coaches for the Novice, Atom, PeeWee & Bantam Rep teams should notify all of their players that they are to attend the icetimes as noted.  The icetimes will count as their practice time for that week.

Learn To Skate Information Meeting

This year's learn to skate information meeting will take place on Sunday, October 4th at 3pm in the Front Lobby of the P&H Centre.  Parents are encouraged to attend this meeting in order to learn about what the program will entail, what equipment is required and to ask any questions they may have.  We will be having 3 groups of skaters this year.  Brad Leask, Jason Rahn, Brandon Manes and Adam Stanley will be instructing these groups.

Coaches & Managers Meeting
Date: October 8th, 7-9pm in the Lion's Den
All Novice to Midget aged coaches and managers should attend this meeting. A seperate meeting will be held at a later date for the Mite and Tyke coaches and managers.

Team Rosters

Coaches/Managers, once your teams are finalised make sure you complete the HMH Team Roster Form.  Completed forms should be submitted to Micheal Whitehead & Dan Bailey so that official rosters can be approved.  A team cannot enter a sanctioned tournament without an approved official roster so be sure to get this completed ASAP.  A reminder that all Offer of Commitment Forms (Player's cards) for rostered players need to be submitted to Dan Bailey by October 15th. All Offer of Affiliation Forms need to be completed prior to allowing an AP player to play with your team and the deadline to add AP's to Official Rosters is December 1st.
