Raffle Tickets
Hanover Minor Hockey would like to remind everyone that the annual raffle ticket draw will take place at the P&H Centre Lobby at 12pm on Saturday, February 6th, 2016. Please be sure to hand in all tickets at the P&H Centre front desk by Friday, Febraury 5th.
Volunteer Hours
The end of the season is fast approaching and Hanover Minor Hockey will be collecting volunteer hour forms from your team's managers. Parents who have completed their hours must submit their forms to their team manager. Managers should then complete the team's volunteer tracking log and submit to Mike Whitehead. It is up to the
parents to report their volunteer hours and get their form signed by the appropriate person and report it to their manager. Team managers should not have to track down parents to make sure this has been completed. Parents can download and fill out their form by clicking
HERE.
Playoffs
Parents, players and team staff are asked to be understanding when it comes to icetime allocations from now until the end of the season. We currently have our Atom-Midget Rep teams in playoffs and soon we will have our Novice Rep team and
all of our Novice-Midget Local League teams in playoffs as well.
Their are specific dates that the OMHA and WOAA require all playoff series and round robins to be completed by. This usually means that those teams will play several games in a very short time frame and will require more icetimes than normal to accomodate those games. As a result, those teams in playoffs will be given priority on icetimes which may mean that some teams could lose practice times in order to accomodate the hectic playoff schedules.
Should your team lose an icetime due to another team's playoff game try to remember that your team will be in playoffs as well at some point and may require the same courtesy. We all need to be patient and understanding with this situation.
Coaches/managers, should you require another team's icetime to schedule a playoff game, it is common courtesy to call the affected team(s) coach(s) and our ice schedular prior to booking the game with the visiting team.
Good luck to everybody with the rest of thier season.
