The Mighty Mites Play Again
Submitted By E.Bohnert on Sunday, January 18, 2009
The Hanover Timbits mite team played the Normanby mites on Saturday January 17 in the Hanover Coliseum. It was only one week after our last game at the Hockey Day in Hanover, but our young players still showed many improvements over their last game. Even their vocabulary of hockey terms is expanding. One of our players said to me “did you see my assist?” to which she was given a big thumbs up.

We noticed that there were lots of people in the stands watching and cheering us on. The looks on the kids faces when they came off the ice after their 3 minute shift was over was heart warming. They said to me “did you hear them?” – keep up the good work cheering on Hanover’s newest hockey players.
