Hanover starts 0-1-1 vs 6 time defending champs from Ennismore

Let the games begin. Hanover is missing a key player and has a few others out or are playing through injurys opened the series with a 5-5 draw. With the home ice Hanover came out flying scoring 3 unanswered goals doing the scoring was Wilkin(3) and Pegelo(2). Heading into the 3rd Hanover held a 5-2 lead! Wilkin had the hat-trick and things were looking up. But a tired Hanover squad found themselves retreating in the 3rd giving up 2 even strength and one shorthanded to the quick Ennismore team. OT solved nothing but Hanover had their chances to redeem themselves and grab the win but couldn't. Game 2 was a little bit of the same story except NO hanover goals, the first time this season the Falcons have been held without a goal. Ennismores roster of 25 just out lasted Hanovers 12 and scored 3 goals along the way. Hanover fought hard but could not find the net. We head to Ennismore this weekend knowing we can play with this team. Hopefully get  Hopkins and Cantlon back and should have Hubbard back from Mexico who is second in points which will give a big boost to the offence. The Falcons are down One game but they did come back three straight against the Seaforth team. Feel free to travel 5hrs by car or even 20hrs by bicycle to enjoy action packed falcons hockey in Ennismore Ontario. The Semi's continue March 6,7 and hopefully 8th all in Ennismore.
