Atom Reps Advance to OMHA Semi-Finals
Submitted By adam stanley on Tuesday, February 23, 2016
It was another action packed game last night as the Hallman Motors Atom Rep Falcons took on the BCH Icedogs in the decisive Game 6 of the OMHA Atom CC Quarter Finals.

The Falcons opened the scoring with a power play goal early in the first period.  The Falcons controlled the game for most of the remainder of the first.  The Icedogs capitalized on a failed clearing attempt by the Falcons halfway through the second to tie the game at 1-1.

The third period was action packed and the momentum shifted back and forth with both teams exchanging chances but failing to capitalize.  Then with less than two minutes remaining in regulation, the Falcons notched the go ahead goal and managed to hold on for the victory.  It was a hard fought series by both teams.

With the win, the Falcons clinched the WOAA Atom CC Championship and a birth into the OMHA Semi-Finals against the Ilderton Jets.
