The Schaus Masonry Atom Rep. team have moved into the WOAA playoffs playing in a round robin with Walkerton, Mildmay and Bruce Pennisula.
The first game was against Mildmay and in a very close match, the Falcons came away with a 2-1 loss. Since then, the boys have gone undefeated in the next 3 games and are playing some great hockey.
They travelled to Lions Head and were in complete control leading 5-1 after 2 periods of play when Bruce Pennisula came storming back with 4 unanswered goals to tie the game at 5. Each team would score 1 goal each before the end of regulation time to send the game into overtime. Ryan Colquhoun would score the game winner giving the Falcons the 7-6 victory.
The next 2 games played were both against Walkerton resulting in a 3-1 victory followed by a 8-2 lashing by the Falcons.
Points scored by the Falcons for the 4 games are as follows: Josh Lorenz, 9 G-2 A, Cam Rourke, 4 G-3 A, Ryan Colquhoun, 3 G-4 A, Kyle Hamel, 5 A, Keifer Teeple, 1 G-2 A, Tyler Freiburger, 2 G, Brody Weber, 2 A, with single assists going to Nathan Oelshclagel, Braydon McDiarmid and Caden Prues.
